Spiral Shock is a fictional two-day film festival to be held at the IMAX Theater in Indianapolis, IN. The festival celebrates psychological thrillers, showcasing films and episodes such as The Lobster, Shutter Island, and Black Mirror: Playtest.

The logo uses a combination of the typefaces Monoton (customized and adapted) and Open Sans
The bright blues and reds are paired to create a vibrance and contrast that is visually electric and exciting, but would cause eyestrain if looked at for a long period of time. This choice is meant to reflect the genre of the psychological thriller that is often simultaneously compelling and unsettling.
Color Palette
The festival’s wordmark, colors, and visual identity intend to reflect the complex, thought-spiraling content within the featured films through the use of revolving letterforms and jagged, twisting forms.
