Logomark and Architecture
The Logomark embodies LGR’s core goal of cultivating a culture hub for conversation, collaboration, and inspiration by using recognizable record shapes to form an enclosed ellipse indicating speech. Speech and conversation is the main element that separates the experience of a record store from the experience of discovering music through streaming services.
The overlap of three records also symbolizes the collaborative element of the business and the joining of people and ideas.
Additionally, the multiple aspect of the logomark, i.e., having three records depicted vs. just one, symbolizes the business’s celebration of reclaimed space and confidence in taking up space.
The logomark is created three overlapping circles, each with inner central circles measuring 1/3 of their diameter.
